3D Website Announcement for Spring 2004

Welcome,

Hope you had an enjoyable holiday. As you begin again, remember that Spring often has lighter enrollments than Fall semester. You can expect some cancellations so it is even more important that you enroll early. If you plan on waiting to add, the course may be cancelled before the first day. We have a number of 8 week courses now. Early enrollment now in the late start classes improves the chance that they will survive.

Exciting new developments include the integration of more Art courses with Multimedia courses. That means better connections to the crossover skills you need to succeed in the workplace. A new certificate which will be launched soon called Production Assistant. 3D Topic courses now run in the 8 week format, and 3D animation courses offered fully online as well as face-to-face (MUL 131 and MUL 137).

I'm very excited about these developments. They have come about, in part because of your hard work and serious commitment to learn the craft. Commitment is contagious.

Out of the success of our collaboration with Theatre this Fall (the 'Laramie Project'), we will be doing many more collaborations under the banner of INTERACT. So you can look for future opportunities for Special Projects that look great on your resume.

We will endeavor to keep the 3D website current every semester, so keep checking back. Have a good and productive Spring at MSJC.
See you in class!
